Episode 1 is now available!

Only The Valiant is a podcast for Valiant fans, by Valiant fans. You will definitely recognize the hosts on this first show.

You can download the show at: http://onlythevaliant.com. You can download it directly, there is a link to the RSS feed there that you can subscribe to, and it should be available for subscription on iTunes soon. (For those of you that haven't gotten into podcasts, it is essentially an internet radio show distributed as an mp3)

Give it a listen, and let us know what you think of it. This first episode is a little rough around the edges, as we get our podcasting legs on. Future episodes are going to be even better.

The point, to me, of this podcast, is not to target us, the Valiant diehard that post on this forum all the time, but the many more people that liked Valiant back in the early 90's, or have fond memories of them, or are filling out their collections, but aren't as in tune with the world of Valiant as we here are. Hopefully it will be fun for you guys to listen to though.

I'm not sure. I was thinking 45 minutes would be a good length, and we went a little long. Do people prefer a shorter show (about 30 minutes) or a longer show (around an hour)?

I'd vote for a bit shorter. I don't know how often I'd have a full hour to devote to it.

Most of the podcasts that I've listened to are about 30 minutes. I'm not
against having one hour but there is a chance for it to become very boring
after a while, I would recommened keeping it 30 minutes and do one hour
shows for special occasionals.

I enjoyed it. I don't have too much negative to say. I think as the series goes on it will flesh itself out. You tried to touch base on a lot of topics so a little wandering was bound to happen

You can subscribe via iTunes by going to the advanced menu, then click on "subscribe to contest", and enter the rss feed url in the box that pops up: http://onlythevaliant.libsyn.com/rss

It just doesn't show up in the iTunes store yet.
