i was very suprised to see the listing in the old previews for the Magnus Steel nation vol.1 & v.2 uncut!!!!! I think thats huge! So somewhere in this universe that we live in there is a "directors cut" of magnus 1-4..simply amazing. Those books are so good, it just blows my mind. It also blows my mind that after all these years we are finding out new info on the publishing history of valiant. Now based on that is it possible to reprint magnus 0-4 because they dont contain any "valiant" characters, so if you had the rights to reprint magnus, you know, you could reprint those books , and maybe even the directors cut!!!

There were quite a few adverts for Trades or other Valiant books over the years that never came to be. Some of them I was really looking forward to buying, especially the Steel Nation uncut. Kind of makes you wonder what changed their mind in the different instances.

yeah this is a huge disappointment for me, since Steel Nation is my all time favorite story arc.

Art Nichols has a website where he's practically begging for work. Maybe he's turned over a new leaf? Doubt it though

For someone as talented as Art, it is a real shame he doesn't have a better work ethic.

The website is working again, and the "last updated date" at the top is 09/18/00.

So... it's 4 years old.
