Re: condition
Im going to do another scan dude.willyt wrote:Hi i couldnt see what the flaws were in the scan? can u describe some? also is the any that break color or bent corners?
thanks
This one makes the comics look worse IMO.
At first glance it looks almost perfect laying flat and clean.
There no rips bends or dings on the cover front or back.
There are no bent corners. The opening corners are spot on and the top and bottom of spine have the usual marks where it was orignally cut but there is no more than 1mm of blunting.
The spine on front has three tiny marks that are hardy noticeable.
The back spine has four marks, two like the front and two that you can see more of, however they are not bends/dings in the comic.
I hate my new scanner.
The old one took less than a minute from scan to save, this new one takes five minutes of *SQUEE* around.
Ill get there though.

Ok so bigger scans added after what feels like an entire day of scanning.
My new scanner sucks, it truly sucks man
At least i think i know how to change some of the settings now.
The bloody thing kept cropping the images and there is no setting to stop it, so you have to do it manually each time, WTF !!!!
Anyway the scans are ok, but the back cover one shows a few marks that arent on the comic so ill clean my scanner screen methinks.
For instance there is a small white mark next to Shadowmans head where the writing say Shadowman...
plus the top and bottom spines look slighty worse too from the shadows.
I dont think ill be attemtping a better scan than this.
Phew, thankfully thats all over.

Its a canon mp460 printer scanner.
Its pointless as i have to use scan wizard to crop the picture my way or it just does it automatically.
Boohoo me.

i dont think so...
i was hoping to sell one of mine, comics, and i was thinking bout it. looking for high grade, 9.2 barely fits. I wasnt trying to waste time, r u going to sit on it or u still need money? ebay doesnt seem hot on valiants at moment...i was hoping some better scans would be mutually beneficial for this posting. Throw in an armorines 4 v2 and you got a deal, (ive been eyeing mrwoogiemans set for a few months now.) u have?

I was thinking the same thing. If these would have come out last year, I prob. would have gotten one. This was my #1 grail book.
It is crazy to see so many offered up for sale.

Seems like some of the rare stuff is like that on occasion. First you can't find one for months on end, then a bunch show up at the same time.Elveen wrote:GGSAE wrote:I can't remember when i've seen three or 4 of these sell around the same time as each other...sure is tempting to add a couple more...

I just have to wonder how many of these are not being described as glow in the dark by sellers who don't know there is a difference.Draco wrote:I think i have seen less than 5 in two years.willyt wrote:how bout the shadowman v2 #16 Glow variant?
It seems like that comes along the least..Have yall seen that in awhile?
That's the biggest problem with buying this issue off of the Internet, trying to figure out if it's the regular version or not without alerting everyone else to it's rarity......
