I would be all over that. If someone could color it, I would pencil, ink it.
I'll plot it for you.

[Insert name of title hero/group] is breaking into [insert villain/group name here]'s facility to get hold of [insert name of artifact here] for some reason.

Henchmen fight them but [insert hero/group name here] fends them off and makes it to centre of facility where they are confronted by [insert villain/group name here].

There is some cliched posturing and forced dialogue between [insert hero/group name here] and [insert villain/group name here] and they fight over a series of disproportioned and badly perspective laden splash pages (10 minimum).

[insert hero/group name here] eventually beats [insert villain/group name here] and aquires [insert name of artifact here] and then heads back to base for debrief.

When [insert hero/group name here] returns to base their boss (in exaggerated military uniform and smoking a fat cigar) confronts them for going against the plan but [insert hero/group member name here] comes out with a "witty" quip and they part ways.

{insert hero/group member name here] is seen getting into bed with a woman with a waspish waist and massive breasts and they pull the covers over them.

End

Valiant Fans is breaking into Lucas Film's facility to get hold of Raiders of the Lost Ark fil proofs for some reason.

Henchmen fight them but Valiant Fans fends them off and makes it to centre of facility where they are confronted by SAG.

Valiant Fans eventually beats Steven Spielberg and aquires Raiders of the Lost Ark fil proofs and then heads back to base for debrief.

And right there, just like that you have the first part of Deathmate 2010.

I am not saying there haven't been some good epis, but the early seasons were so much better...

Okay, you tried, but unfortunately you have too good of an understanding of basic human anatomy to make a true Liefeld imitation!

Where is that Captain America picture?

You guys can poke fun at Liefeld all you want to, but he did help bring comics to a height of popularity that hasn't been achieved since. He might not be the best artist, but he's far from the worst.

Thanks Blood for the pic—that’s hilarious. You would have thought the inker or colorist would have at least caught this.

As far as Liefeld goes, it’s kinda like watching Night Rider reruns. At the time I thought he was great but now when I look at his stuff it’s so dated—his work just doesn’t hold up too well.

That aside, I would like to collect his New Mutants run and I have his Hawk and Dove mini which I think is well done.

Truthfully, I think Liefeld is an average artist. It was his characters—namely Deadpool and Cable—that made him a superstar not his artistic talent. Unfortunately he had a lot of promise but his fandom came too soon—he was too young and need more years to perfect his craft.

Actually, it was the inker who put in the extra finger, IIRC.

Liefeld draws much better than I. It's just that there are so many more talented artists who can't catch a break whilst Robbie L keeps getting work. I dunno.

WTF? Was he mad at VALIANT or something? There is no way he saw that and thought a finger was missing...

Sounds plausible—otherwise the illustration is decent. Yeah, I think if someone was trying to stick it to a company it be a bit more vulgar.
