My Valiant Story

Post by robicj01 »

Howdy, I am kind of new when it comes to collecting Valiant Comics. I started collecting comic books when I was a kid back in 92 during the comic book boom but lost interest due to all of the high prices. I started re-collecting comics about a year and a half ago and that is when I looked at a 10 cent bin at my local comics store. They had ones I remembered as a kid such as Youngblood and Wildcats #1 but I also saw such neat chrome ones such as Bloodshot and Turok number ones. I remember these slightly as a kid but not as much as the image comics so I decided to pick these up for a dime a piece. I saw some other ones such as the Unity issues, so I bought some of the first issues, read them, loved them, and ran back to my comic store to pick up the rest of the issues. I love the series so much I went back to that dime bin and bought whatever valiant comics they had. Valiant now has me hooked and I cant stop until I collect them all, I even started collecting comic art. I seem to be addicted to Valiant but it is an addiction I am happy with.

Welcome and thanks for sharing your story.

I think all of us here have varying degrees of the addiction.

Welcome.

Unity was a great story event. Hope you were able to find enough of the books in the cheap bins to finish it.
