So my 8 year old 3rd grader comes home and excitedly asks, "Dad! Have you ever heard of Bone?!?!"

I was so excited for him! So we took a trip to the local library and picked up V1 and 2 of the tpbs. Im excited for him!!

And for all of you Bone fans.. although this is probably old news.. you can pick up the entire series in one HUGE tpb for about $35 off of Amazon or eBay. Its pretty huge!! and Im not sure I would like it that way.. but its impressive! :lol:

My oldest read the whole series this summer and loved it - it was cool for her to discover it! How fun for you guys!

Bone is a great series and I think it belongs on the shelf of every serious comic fan. The fact that it has cross-age and gender appeal is part of what makes it such a fantastic series. I wish school libraries would stock it as a matter of course. It's that good.

this is probably one of THE best deals in comics. nearly 1,000 pages for $40 (sticker price). i read this huge book on a vacation to Arizona - flew right through it - great read!

my sons (they will be 10 next week) and their friends have all read the entire series at least once...some multiple times...they all spout quotes from it at the goofiest times...

I get them...but the wife looks at the kids like they're nuts... :thumb:
