And don't tell me our recent discussions of it didn't influence this.

We talk about it, and VOILA!...two weeks later, it's up for sale...HMMMM....

Anyhoo, I'm tempted, but I just cannot stomach the $200 (or more) price tag. Can't do it.

I'd do it for $75 (gulp), but $200 is just out of the range I'm willing to pay.

But...the good news is, I know it's not out of the price range a lot of YOU are willing to pay (hey, SOTU...) so have at it!

Speaking of...anyone notice that CGC's got the 'wrong' date on the case? I'm on vacation, but someone check the indicia of the gold #0. Does it have June 1992? The cover shows Jul.

Whewww!!! Hallalujah!!! I'll soon have my Valiant grail, sure it was $205 smackeroos but since Valiant is all I collect it's about the coolest thing I can treat myself to. Kinda sad I know, but true.

Sorry Zeph, I didn't want to tip my hat to your earlier suggestion. My bid was already placed so it was just a matter of waiting.

Just seems crazy to me that Harbinger Pink 9.8 can and is going for about the same price right now when we all know A&A Gold 9.8's auction at a fraction of Pinks frequency.

I would put a A&A Gold 9.8 up there with Harbinger 1 9.8, I could be wrong but I didn't want to wait for another one to come along.

Am I the crazy one here? Seemed like a fair price, could have been alot worse so I couldn't pass it up. MY PRECIOUSSS!!!

Notiriously hard to find in even 9.4 condition. You did well Sound!

Arrived in the mail today and man is it sweet lookin, now I've got a 9.4, 9.6 & 9.8 A&A Gold. Any guesses on how long before CGC grades another in 9.8?
