I was never a HUGE Harbinger fan, but after reading the new #1, this is going to be "top of the stack" every month.

Art = Amazing and very different
Story = great, very different than OG Valiant, but I think you all are going to like it. Peter Stanchek is a very different cat in this book but it all makes sense.

BTW, If you are in Los Angeles area, look for a Release Party announcement for Harbinger #1

So glad you like it. We're so proud of how this one came out! It had to live up to the legacy.

Thanks for the info. This is the one I am looking forward to the most, and thus the one I would be most disappointed if it did not deliver.

Argh...so jealous, but great to hear. From the beginning I have been most excited for this book. It has always seemed like it will be the critical favorite of the bunch, and your brief review would seem to back that up. Feel free to forward it on to me for verification. Just PM me for my mailing address

The early X-O was definitely one of my favs from the old universe, but this new Harbinger sounds very intriguing to me. I think their new take could be better than the original.

MY gut was that Harbinger suffers now from being too aimed at kids then. So many current or topical references to the time - "Nothing beats a bud..." and etc. make the line pretty difficult to read for the first time now. With that said, it's MUCH easier to jump into this one - being topical, again...

If I win an argument, it doesn't mean I'm right. It means I'm a better arguer.

In addition, I'm right.

Good to hear, being as though, Harbinger is the book I'm least interested in...

You would probably hate me even more if you knew what i am about to read today. Hint: it starts with B and ends with loodshot. He he. (Evil grin)

Seriously, retailers do need to read new books to know how to order.
