Ash & Event Comics
Posting on the Quesada thread earlier I got nostalgic for his Event Comics and specifically Ash, for which I still have every issue proudly in my collection.
So of course I started googling and found a quote from Jim Palmiotti saying they sold Ash to DreamWorks!?! Is that true? I couldn't find much else on it. Did they sell the character outright or just the tv/film rights? If anyone knows, please fill me in. I know they still own Painkiller Jane.
Does this mean I may one day get a Quesada drawn Solar/Ash team-up?

Ok, I did some more digging and DreamWorks only bought the film rights and planned an animated version at some point. The quote from Jimmy P didn't make it sound like that, but that makes sense. Still hope for that Solar/Ash animated feature, though.

Re: Ash & Event Comics
I have all the Ash issues too, including some, but not all of the variants. I really dug Quesada's art on the title and it was a different take on a comic book character.BugsySig wrote:Posting on the Quesada thread earlier I got nostalgic for his Event Comics and specifically Ash, for which I still have every issue proudly in my collection.
