Read this arc tonight. Just great. Turok goes up against a Chinese rare animal 'herbalist' gang (buffalo horn, etc) who has two bionosaurs he calls dragons. Great pacing and fantastic art. Rags Morales is an awesome penciller and some of the layouts (atop the canyon pillars and swimming beneath the capsized boat) are just terrific. And Rags can really draw dinosaurs. Coloring was great too.

Plus the arc had some nice characterization as Turok grapples with the Big City.

The Jurassic Politics arc in 17 - 19 is pretty good.

It seemed to swing back and forth between really good and REALLY bad.

Is that the one with Cap'n Red? When I met Rags at the Allentown con back in March he told me it one one of his favorite arcs, just because of the absurdity of it all. And didn't it tie into a story with Lost Land female nazi babes?

And I know I've mentioned it before, but the guy is unbelievably gracious. We chatted for 40 minutes while he signed 38 comics for me. :o

I love Rags. I am enjoying Geomancer on my re-read so far, too. Just HATED that story.
