Great issue
I thought Kuretich was working for omen industries/hard corps so a bit surprised to see Harada is behind everything. It was a cool surprise.
It sucks pulse bit the bullet ... But I guess I'm the only one who misses Gamma
I thought she was a cool villain. Lets face it - old people can be scary and an old grandma the size of a truck is downright frightening.

Has there been some sort of statement from editorial that this is one of their core principles?iwantvaliantcomics wrote:My wife was upset that Pulse died. To rub salt in her wounds I reminded her that "Valiant is where dead is dead."
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

I have not heard anything about dead being dead in the new Valiant.kjjohanson wrote:Has there been some sort of statement from editorial that this is one of their core principles?iwantvaliantcomics wrote:My wife was upset that Pulse died. I have heard "best idea wins", though.

Re: Bloodshot #9 Discussion
I just re-read this series (along with Shadowman) and reading it all in one hit makes the story feel like one non-stop action adventure. I feel exhausted after reading it
Bloodshot is like the Wolverine of the Valiant Universe (mixed with the Punisher and without the overexposure). But Bloodshot is still my favourite Valiant character.

The first arc, I enjoyed the heck out of. This arc...not so much.
That said, bring on the Harbinger Wars.

What we need is innovation and even revolution—but not so much in the form of marketing ploys and doohickeys. What is needed is bold creative vision, excellent stories, and brilliant storytelling, in a word, entertainment. -- Jim Shooter

It did seem to get "stuck" the last two issues. There was some development, but not much after the very insightful #7 flashback.Zaphod wrote:The first arc, I enjoyed the heck out of. This arc...not so much.

An excellent theorygreg wrote:Do Archer's eyes glow?Xtianhardy wrote:The only thing I didn't like about Gamma is the fact that her eyes didn't seem to glow when she used her powers. I thought it was established in Harbinger that the psiots eyes glow yellow when they're using their powers?
Some people with abilities may not be psiots.
I'm not sure which artists are working on which books, but is it possible that the whole 'yellow eyes' thing has just been overlooked/ignored by the Bloodshot artists?
I thought it was an excellent issue, but everything I could say about it has already been said. However, I'm not convinced that Pulse did actually die, because it really wasn't conclusive in issue #9. I'm sure we'll find out either way in the next issue, but she'll need some serious medical attention if she's to survive.
