I can't see the pictures at work, but I look forward to seeing them at home. I may have submitted an offer on the 9.8.

Zero, any idea when you'll decide on the offers? I'm heading out of town on Saturday the 17th. Thanks!

Can someone educate me on the Pink? It says "Gold Printing Error" but the book has a price on it. I thought the gold printing had no price. Is the label in error and the Bloodshot Pink is a rare (recognized) error of the regular Bloodshot #0 or is there some reason a Gold has a price on it?

I'd never seen the Pink before so I had no idea what it was really.

Really cool, though.

It is likely an early test/prototype, and essentially a one of a kind book.

It is ALSO and 100% impossible to complete a V1 Bloodshot set WITHOUT this book.

The gold lettering of the BLOODSHOT on the cover is the key factor. Any other error printing with a cover price would be assumed to be from the regular run, but the gold lettering of the title indicates the book was connected to the gold issues. It may have been a test of that title lettering, since the cover price box is funky.

When I originally found this book I took it to someone that was involved with design back in the day and they verified it as authentic. Don't remember his name anymore but it was a test book. A prototype.

I give up... what is DMG?
When the Valiant movie projects were announced in Beijing, members of the press received copies of Harbinger #1 (DMG Promo) and Bloodshot #1 (DMG Promo), which were variants of the 2012 #1 issues that had been translated into Chinese to introduce Asia to Valiant.

DMG is the financial backers for the TV and film projects.

Now, when someone like you or I are given a unique Valiant comic, it likely is backed and boarded quickly to minimize flaws or damage. HOWEVER, when non-comic collecting Chinese media is given a unique Valiant comic, they roll it up, toss it in the trash, or put it in a bag with a bunch of pens brochures and business cards.

As a result, most will never be seen; and IF they were, they likely would be damaged and impossible to squire in 9.8.

A few have made it to the US, and have been graded. But the Harby in perticular is (to my knowledge) the rarest Harbinger book or variant to date; while the Bloodshot has proven to be more condition sensitive.

The idea is this;

1.) The DMG variants are super rare

2.) The DMG variants grade hard

3.) The Asian markets are CrAzY once motivated, with very deep pockets. Any Chinese funded media projects, will likely be marketed in China once released. As such they are likely to attract a fan base from the 1,000,000,000+ people who live there, who may at some point become quite interested in the source material from those projects that also happen to be in their language and a funded representation of their global financial involvement in pop culture and film.

In a nutshell, these books are already expensive and in demand, and likely to increase in value and demand exponentially once the media projects hit the Asian market.
