Re: Mike Rowe interview - talking about Ninkak Vs. The Valia
Sounds like he's approaching the character from a good angle to me.
As a Brit it irritates me that we've clearly lost the accent in Rowe's portrayl of the character. What he says about the character being well-travelled and the like, in addition to having genuine British actors on set, is a decent justification for not fully adopting the accent, but it's still a bit irksome.
Still, looking forward to the first ep

not to split hairs here, but better than half of the cast of TWD is British/Australian. It's supposed to be an apocalypse set in Georgia, not the UK,

Re: Mike Rowe interview - talking about Ninkak Vs. The Valia
I'm also slightly upset at Ninjak not having an accent. Yeah, he's an amalgamation of various characters, as Rowe said, but at his core he can be boiled down to "Ninja James Bond." It's one of those details that separates him from the other McNinjas.
Now, I don't really know Rowe's acting background that well, but maybe he, like, really sucks at doing a convincing British accent. That'd be a good enough reason in my book.

I don't watch the Walking Dead. In fact, you're lucky that I even figured out that acronym in the first place.
