I reckon you folks will be excited with my fun find.... Last year a a convention in the UK I went through all the comic sellers and picked up any random Valiant issues I could find (Valiant is not very big over here yet). My haul consisted mostly of a huge pile of old 90's Eternal Warrior comics and some newer #1s of series I hadn't read yet.

Yesterday I decided to read the copy of Ivar, Timewalker #1 I'd picked up... and look... it's a gold variant! Awesome :) It has a thicker cover than normal, it's in really nice condition too, a very pleasing find. I'm going to keep this aside and hopefully at some future convention I can chase FVL, Henry & Reber with a gold pen and get it signed!
It's my first random finding of an exciting comic in the wild :high-five:

It was in a manky old comic bag, Sunlight. It's nicely bagged and boarded now :)

Heya ~ we have a few Uk members here.
I am in cambridge.
Sometimes we met up, at conventions or stop each others houses.

No pressure, just saying. Will let you know whats happening, occasionally we post met ups on a thread called Royal valiant fans. So if you see it, or something posted on that thread ~ just take a look.
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Good to know Phantom, thanks for that! I'm not often in the UK (i'm over in Ireland), but usually manage one UK convention a year so I'll keep an eye on your Royal thread :)
