L5R - Legend of the Five Rings LCG
I'm thinking of buying the Core Set for this game, now that it has been rebooted of sorts (moved to FFG). For more than a decade I've been tempted to buy this, but it seemed a bit TOO DAMN BIG with all the expansions and what not.
Maybe this time I'll go for it. I do have a MTG Samurai deck build for my kitchen table duels with the wife (and I love that deck, somuch fun!!! ), but a complete fantasy feudal Japan setting with different clans/factions to choose from is way tastier, and I'd love to have at least one "Bushido"-oriented tabletop game.
So, anyone played this? Any impressions/tips you could give to a curious person, like what to buy/not buy and that sort of thing?
Much appreciated
