Faith movie at Paramount

Apparently a movie is in the works at Paramount. Don’t know if it’s been posted yet. Has a new screen writer. If I had to wager a guess this would be a Paramount Plus movie

Dinesh already used shopping the IP around Hollywood to generate buzz and increase sales. But he didn't wait until they couldn't afford to produce more than 1 book a month.

I'd love to hear what crazy spin Dan Minz puts on the Valiant comics pitch to avoid talking about current sales when trying to hype up the IP to potential "cash injectors".

Sorry to be such a downer, but this doesn't read as "good news" to me. It seems more like another telltale sign they are circling the drain. I'm assuming they're looking to sell it all off if they can...

Mintz has been trying to get Paramount to just buy Valiant for sometime now...

What a putz. Paramount is a dead end and Mintz is a bell end.

I really wish they would just cut their losses & sell it off to someone who actually cares about being a comic publisher, before they permanently ruin the whole IP (I think we’re already dangerously close to doing that).

I know it’s a tough niche market out there these days for any company to only subsist on comic book sales… even Dinish & co. always had their eye on the IP prize too - but at least those guys generally cared about growing the publishing side of it first and foremost.
