What exactly is "VHX"? I mean what were these plts and artwork intended for ? They look and read great BTW.

VHX=Valiant Heroes Extreme

This line was intended to come out after VH2 as we know it! BUT..... The powers that be left and VH3 came out, hit and miss that is.

hey I've been looking at these pages for awhile now and it came to me what the artwork reminds me of. To me it looks like (this is a compliment!) a cross between the old EC comic line and some of mcfarlane's early spawn stuff.
In all honesty i only see the "McFarlanesque" thing in the panel that include carmen. Something about those exagerated lips and the playboy figure just scream Spawn to me. I LOVE the heavy use of the black ink. It really reminds me of the early EC stuff. I think the Sin City books were the next step in a natural progression of this style. Even the first Batman movie owes some props to EC.

Will def. keep checking this post for more pages Justin. This is almost like waiting for a new Valiant comic to come out. In fact the only real difference is that we are seeing it a little at a time. Hope you keep posting them!

This is great, Justin! It's like reading a daily adventure comic strip!

I really like the fact that you are sharing a page a day. It gives me something to look really look forward to on this site!

Not that there isn't a lot of great stuff here already, but how often do you get to see an unpublished comic a page at a time?

LMAO! Thanks for cheering me up Brian! I have been burning the candle at both ends and I am about out of wax in the middle. I actually went to bed early last night and slept in, first time in about a year. So I feel much better.
