It could be Dino's response to DC and Marvel's Classic reprints. It would be like Amazing Spider-Man 300 cromium only cooler because it's Magnus and a kick *SQUEE* cover.

I liked Rai 0 without any enahncements. To me, at the time it was quietly released. I remember picking it up off the shelves at the store, and later on when it got hot, I remember thinking "cool".
To me that book is a very, very key Valiant that was totally symbolic of Valiant because it was released under the radar, but really was a cornerstone book of the Valiant U. Really, any of the books that Valiant put chromium on were gimmicks and really weren't "all that". They looked good, but I like that Rai 0 was "just an issue" completely indicitive of what Valiant was doing right at the time.

I agree, but I would've like to have seen some early Solar's in chromium, just for S & Giggles. Heck, I would love to see Jessica Alba in chromium.motorhead wrote:Why continue to flood the market with needless gimicks? The covers look nice in chromium, but I for one got really sick of chromium. Actually, I would say that Valiant died from Chromium poisoning!

That would be a good one because of that covers propensity to get smudge marks on it. Chromium would be a good choice for covers that are likely to smudge or be smudged.Shakespeare wrote:This one would have worked bestibreakhorses wrote:I agree, but I would've like to have seen some early Solar's in chromium, just for S & Giggles. bloodshot 51 would have never had one, because you don't want to be shiny when you say, "Going out of business sale."
