Need to be added:
Hero Illustrated 8 (Rune Origin Story) - Later reprinted in Ultraverse Origins.
Ultraverse Premiere 1 (Ultra Limited) you have it listed as Rune 3
Comics Values Monthly (Can't remember the issue # but it commemorates Ultraverse 1st year anniversary and has a Warstrike story in it)
Countdown to Ultraverse comes in three different variations. One version has a serial # in the upper right hand corner - the other does not - both have Hardcase saying catch on the cover. The third is a Skybox variant which has a red sunburst saying check out the centerfold for the upcoming card series.
Ultraforce also has an Ashcan that was limited to 10,000 copies and does not contain either part A or B of the Ultraforce prelude.

I get that the list has three versions and i just snagged the white border one (cheers Chiclo), but this doesnt look like a filp book and the title Says Silver Surfer/ Rune and not the other way round, which is what is confusing me.BruceReville wrote:There are 3 versions of this - each with a flip-cover.Draco wrote:Silver Surfer Rune, or as the title says, Rune Silver Surfer?

Each company did one story of the flip book - Rune Silver Surfer side is done by Malibu - Silver Surfer Rune is done by Marvel. Below is a link that shows all three versions and the flips for each.Draco wrote:I get that the list has three versions and i just snagged the white border one (cheers Chiclo), but this doesnt look like a filp book and the title Says Silver Surfer/ Rune and not the other way round, which is what is confusing me.BruceReville wrote:There are 3 versions of this - each with a flip-cover.Draco wrote:Silver Surfer Rune, or as the title says, Rune Silver Surfer?

Incorrect, the indicia is only on the Rune/Silver Surfer side and in all three versions reads "Rune/Silver Surfer", not the other way around.Draco wrote:BruceReville wrote:Each company did one story of the flip book - Rune Silver Surfer side is done by Malibu - Silver Surfer Rune is done by Marvel. This one is not on the checklist and needs to be added. I was not even aware of this book existing, as I believe it was not documented on Big Tel's website or anywhere else we were getting information for our checklist from.
Have to add it to my want list, as well.

Well, this auction dates from the end of October, so it might be the same auction you are thinking of.

He sold one for over $20 a couple of months back; this one was more reasonable.
