Cool! I like the clean style for the robots, it really makes the action stand out.

The robots look awesome but I don't like the look and feel of magnus. Either his head is to big or he just feels to "sunday comics" but something is putting me off. *shrug*

I thought it almost had a "cartoony" feel about it, like it was a still frame from a proposed Magnus: Robot Fighter cartoon. Who was the artist on this piece? It's a different style, but a very nice piece. Thanks for sharing it!

Thats what I like about it. I knew the artist style as I have bought other pages from him in the past. He is just getting started in the comic business and has his first published book out now. I have a link at home that I will post so you can see his current work.

Some of his woprk reminds me of Darrows Hard Boiled style.

You can see some of his other work

HaHa! go to his sequentials. second row, on the left. click. its mary jane. ok, go to the second page. tell me the bartender does not look like Moe Syzlak(that how you spell it?) :D that is awesome. i think his people have to cartoony of a look, but his environments are excellent. a damn fine artist.

Yea, Mary Jane's "environments" look nice in that last panel. That is one clingy blouse!

I know Cliff takes commissions. I think he did a short Magnus story and I was thinking he pencilled a cover that Bob inked.

Huge Magnus fan. Does great sketches.

If anyone's interested, I'll have him post his email address or website.

Best,
KV

(And as I get closer to having to make the downpayment on my house this summer, I'll do more commissions, too!)
I had a dream that I was falling through time. I am falling still.
