I was going to go but I just found out we missed our flight. I am out for the flight, my ticket, and I don't get to visit the valiant booth or panels. Basically I am pretty bummed right now.

I just keep thinking in terms of what could that 100 bucks buy me help finish off my original valiant collection. I could probably pick up one of the rare Acclaims I am missing. At this point I don't think they are going to come down in price that much where as this book might.

Well, presumably if they keep getting order for the variants only (or mostly variants) then they won't be able to fill them all. It's simple math.

I don't know how much a store pays for comics, but let's say they pay 50% of retail (??). So to order a XO Manowar Gold, they have to order 100 regular ...

I think I would be ok with 50. I was kind of shocked when they said 100. I just need to fight off my completist err complentionist err whatever you call it tendencies.

I see everyone thinks the price will come down. What do you think it will settle in at? Is 100 just an outrageous price? I have a chance to pick one up and that is what they are asking.

Yea I live the next state over so I got mine yesterday. It is only the second book ever to go back ordered. Manhattan Projects was the other. My harby 1:50 was beat up bad and they sent me a new one and it wasnt much better. I blame diamond and the cover stock for all those issues though not them ...

I only ordered 1 X-O 1:50 and it is listed as back ordered. I did get a gold in but it is probably a vf+/nm-.

If 20 people were to order multiple 1:100s of the valiant books do you think they could sustain that? As full disclosure I have had my sub service with impulse creations for 10 years now and they have always managed to get everything I have ordered.

If everyone hits one of these sites like impulse creations they will either be unable to fill all the orders or they will have to raise their price on them. They are already blowing out copies of the regular books on eBay from the variants they are selling now. :?

Make sure the images are in your public folder if you want to have them display in HTML. Since they are in your photos folder it takes ...

Mine are coming in beat to heck too. I bought an X-O gold and it had 3 spine ticks and that one has a card stock cover. Many are miscut badly as well. My Harbinger 4 is cut through the bar code and has a white stripe of equal size across the top. It goes through the little review blurb at the bottom ...
