Re: Harbinger #25

Obviously not as powerful as the last few issues

I vehemently disagree. I think Peter's fate (and the world's) was even more tragic than Flamingo's. Main story was a masterpiece.

Still on the fence on the Omegas mini (or anything Valiant) after the Shadowman implosion, the Eternal blunder, the ...

Well that slice of unbridled enthusiasm belongs over in the sales thread, Billy Mumphrey! :)

<reference, anyone?>

I can assure I am not mixed up in the high stakes game of world diplomacy and international intrigue.

The issue was very good though. Sorry for the bummer post; I just see history ...

It ends. Then what's left becomes a series of mini series obsessed with finding new readership, and everything that made the book special in the first place gets stripped away for issue 1 buys and "wait for trade" sales.

Never been a fan of contemporary political references in comic books. Specific political themes work much better if the writer can make it their own alternate reality like in Watchmen and TDKR.

DId anyone else pick up all the variant covers of this issue? I love the 8 bit Harbinger Kart, and the Sean Chen signature series cover is such an excellent, tight drawing too... I think he would be another great classic Valiant artist that should be getting some more work with VEI. :thumb:

Oh Man, CBR just gave it 2.5/5 :o

It made the "read pile" in Hannibal Tabu's The Buy Pile:

"Bloodshot And H.A.R.D. Corps" #15 was a pretty good pivot from a previous status quo to a new one as Bloodshot returns to the employ of Project Rising Spirit (which seems odd but makes a kind of sense ...

Re: X-O #14 discussion

It all seemed a bit tidy,

I thought the same. I expected Aric's new allies to meet a similar fate his people in the Lost Land did during Unity in the original comic.

but the politics and ramifications of a new order could be entire series on its own. I wonder what exactly Aric had Saana tell ...

Re: Speculation about the next 5 titles?

Not necessarily my personal preferences but an educated guess:

1. Quantum and Woody (sheer popularity)

2. Ninjak (guest-starring character from best selling series)

3. Something spun out from Harbinger Wars

If you got all of the titles new books on the same day, which order would you read them in? Or, which book is your favorite, down to your least favorite?

1. Tossup between X-O and Harbinger (too hard to judge which I like better!)
2. Archer & Armstrong
3. Bloodshot
4. Shadowman

I wonder if this ...

Yo, here's a thing: What was that weird mind-power thing that Shadowman did to revive the girl in deadside when she went unconcious?
