Re: What if Pete was Magnus' daddy?

Years ago, I thought there could be a chance that Magnus was the son of both Pete and Torque.

How is that possible?

Re: DBS's 100% CONFIRMED "Rare" Print Run Info

The largest publisher in the industry dumps substantial numbers of leftover variants completely flooding the market and making fools of their fans that paid up for the books when they first came out. I wonder how many people paying hundreds (or thousands) of dollars for the Ultimate Fallout #4 1:25...

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast

There hasn't been an OTV proper in a while, but we've been still publishing Valiant Comics Review. The time has come, however, OTV is shutting the doors and sailing into the sunset. All of the archives will remain, but we won't be publishing any more. OTV has been a constant fixture in my life for ...

Re: Have bad idea lost their mind? Does anyone know what they are doing?

This is a cute gimmick, but I’m sure any mathematician could give you a basic estimate on how long a billion clicks would take...I think at the current rate they will reach it in early November. I just watched the timer go up 6,000 in 20 seconds. If that's average, it would take 38.5 days to reach ...

I have spent way to much time. Today clicking! Lol. It’s silly fun.
Bring up the page on a computer (instead of a phone) and click the button once, then put something heavy on the Enter key on your keyboard.
You can walk away.

Re: Why do I get the feeling…

HTF TPB always brings to mind Magnus/Predator... Precisely. And with Marvel announcing that they'll be producing Aliens and Predator series, some Predator books have already taken off. First appearance, naturally, but also the Batman/Predator crossover has seen some really good results recently. Th...

I bought an old wire-frame magazine rack (not a spinner) and the slots are wide enough to hold slabs. Pretty good alternative, since it was $15.

By the way, who is "the" Harbinger this time? Any guesses? This doesn't look like Pete.
Do you mean "the" Visitor?

He looks like he could be a young Harada, so maybe a clone of Harada? Maybe "the Rai prototype"... something like that. :hm:

Re: Q's regarding Harbinger #0 (1992)

I like that the original solicitation for Harbinger trade 2nd print specifically says "Does not include a copy of HARBINGER #0 like the 1st printing did!" That's pretty conclusive, if that's been a mystery. It's unlikely that there's a 2nd print Harbinger trade in a polybag, since there wouldn't hav...

According to Advance the Second Printing of the Harbinger trade was shipped in DEC 92.
Interesting... according to the (almost 20 year old) shipping schedule on this site, the Harbinger trade 2nd print didn't arrive until May 1993.

Re: VALIANT FCBD 2020...Possible SPOILER!!!

Dinesh was very clear that Valiant was on the verge of much bigger things when he was pushed out of the company. "Bigger" wouldn't exactly be the return of Divinity, since VEI started Divinity. "Bigger" might be the return of something... bigger. "Much bigger" would need to be the return of... much ...

I kinda remember this happening. There is a Valiant tie for Jemas; he worked with Dino in some (as far as I remember, unspecified) capacity on VEI before they began publishing. greg posted some kind of anagram in the chain music title thread to commemorate the collaboration. http://valiantfans.com/...

Re: Valiant 2012 to present, releases listed on one page...

I think there should be borders around HW/BS/H as well as HW2, too. Some color coding isn't good either; e.g. Escape from Gular should be light instead of bright yellow; Fallen World needs to be green-ish. I think, it would also help a lot visually if the border for the 4001 event extras were in gr...

Re: Q's regarding Harbinger #0 (1992)

A few years back, Greg's Price Guide was still listing the number of printed copies. Reg Black Bird - 100k Blue Bird - 35k Second Printing - 15k This suggest that ordering 5 copies would have scored you at least 1 blue bird (on average); unless you're the most unlucky person. My estimates for 100K,...

I haven't checked ComicLink in a while. I would have definitely drove that price higher. If the buyer is interested in making a profit, pm me.
Agreed - I never really follow ComicLink auctions - that's definitely a case where being the only one to see the auction paid off well.

Thanks guys I hadn't realized this TPB existed. Im sure it's no rare information just news to me. What issues does it include? Just Mag v Pred #1 & #2? As published as original comics? That seems like it would make a thin TPB. Yep, it's thin, just those two issues... and it was released in 1994 whe...

Post-movie slump, particularly as the CGC census kept rising the whole time.

Who's buying the Bloodshot first appearance(s) for top dollar when the movie is three months old and they already got one? :D

From the outside the book is more of a wraparound cover than a traditional flipbook. I don't think they'll slab Eternal Warrior #8 facing forward because the staples would be on the wrong side.
