It would have been cool if it had been possible to set up a poker game at SDDC that also celebrated the board's anniversary.

A raffle in which the winner gets a complete set of VH 1, VH 2, and VEI VALIANT comics cobbled together from donations made by board members giving away their duplicate NM copies of the comics in their collections.

Thanks Greg for the place as well. Not exactly an avid comic reader to the extent I was in mid 2000s, but this is one of the only things I can think of I still visit in 2024 that I was visiting in 2006 and 2007. Back when I posted here regularly, cracked.com had quality blogs.

Without this board there would not be a Valiant anymore. I don't think you can underestimate the importance of the board to Valiant. Even just the fact that Dinesh was one of the most active posters in his day. I don't see him taking a run at Valiant without that experience coming first.
