Re: Jim Shooter has died

I changed the title from "Jim Shooter is dead" to "Jim Shooter has died"
It's just a minor change, but it matches the feeling better in my opinion.

I'm happy to say that I did get to meet Jim Shooter several years ago.
I believe it was in 2009 in New York.

Ahh, yes. Thanks greg. Very interesting history and thank you for everything.

I was trying to look up some books for signing. I will double-check the books to make sure they are correct.

It looks like Archive.org does have some working code for the artist lists. This is as good as it ever ...

Yes, I googled and that's where I found the info. I still think it used to be on here before.

More than 20 years ago, in the before times. Where the children of tomorrow dream away.

I had to rewrite the Valiant website from Windows-based to Linux-based somewhere after 2004.
That was the same ...

Re: Is it just me? board changed? am I stupid?

We updated from 3.3.10 to 3.3.14, which might be the first update in two years. Nothing looked different, but I didn't do a lot of testing. When the board came back up with all the current posts, I figured it was good to go.

Sorry to see this --- I definitely remember the Theebaldmoose here on the board, but I don't know if I had the chance to meet him at a convention. 50 is too young.

First and foremost for me is that VALIANT was "the world outside your window" and DEFIANT (Plasm) was "what's a window?"

I want to say 1994, because Valiant celebrated its 3rd anniversary with a VHS video, etc.

Has anyone ever heard the fable of the boy who cried "wolf"?
How about the one where the chicken screamed that the sky was falling?

Once again, we're looking at an all-caps scare-topic from a user who can't produce a single wolf hair or sky piece.

It is likely that verified counterfeit Valiants ...

Bloodshot # 0 platinum MINT 10.0

This book doesn't exist in CGC.
Was this graded by another company?
