To me Cap and Steve Rogers are synonymous, much like Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne with their respective alter egos. I don't want to see anyone else taking over the roles on a permanent basis. Other heroes like Flash, Green Lantern, Blue Beetle etc. can be replaced, but not Cap, Bats or Supes. You mus...

I normally don't read spoilers. I always prefer to read the story in the book/comic/movie. But this was so bad I read them just so I can avoid the last two issues of this storyline. A shame really. There were some really good story elements early on, but to reset everything to way it was 20 years ag...

Played Wii sports on my brother-in-laws new Wii. My wife kicks all our @sses in boxing. My shoulder is still sore. I finally beat Gears of War and Ultimate Alliance on xbox 360. I have Halo3 and Call of Duty 4 to get to, but I left my only controller at home and have had to stare at my xbox fo...

How about this: Thank YOU, Ric ! ! ! If it was not for YOU, these kids would not have anything near to what YOU are providing for them. Your efforts, your fund raising, YOUR giving a darn about these kids during Christmas is what is making a difference. You are one of the best people I know and thi...

Well, about batman retiring: rumor is that bruce wayne is gonna kick the bucket in the next year. spoiler From what rumor I heard. Grant Morrison wanted to kill off the trinity and replace them with the modern counterparts (wonder girl, robin or nightwing and superboy) The trinity would then become...

Dr. Solar touched on it, but the reason Wizard is evil is because they take insider info and use it to make money by bilking unsuspecting comic buyers with 'hot' comics. The Death of Cap story is a prime example. They very day the book hit the shelves Wizard had hundreds for sale on ebay. Some of th...

I have the Destiny, Sandman Arabian Knight and 10th ann. as well as the Kaine and Able bookends and they are all detailed and beautiful. I love the original Sandman. I still remember the $100 price tag and almost pulling the trigger on it. $100 was a lot of money then. Harlan Ellison was bragging ab...

ive loved the search for ray palmer 1 shots I wanted to read the Ray Palmer storyline. Really I did. But when it went from the Atom series to Countdown to the One Shots to Final Crisis (ok, I have no evidence of the last one, but it looks like the story won't be finished in any of the other books) ...

WWIII seemed to get universal thumbs down from folks. I disagree. I liked it, but it did have issues. There were a few things that were out of place characterwise. Some things were shoe horned in to fit. I will say that WWIII may not fit well in the context of 52. It was designed to explain what hap...

This auction has so many red flags. He ended it early and sold the books for $12,600. Shipping price. So many warnings. So many fools with too much money. btw my pride and joy is my copy of Superman #7. It would be in vf condition except that the staples have rusted away and left holes in the paper ...

It would have been the last issue in the Lee/Kirby run (108?). Stan and Jack had a falling out. Apparently Stan wasn't happy about what Jack had pencilled and wanted it redone. Jack quit in protest. Nearly the entire issue had been pencilled. Those pages were subsequently cut up (the actual boards) ...
