The waiting was bringing me down a while back. That (and life away from the 'net) gave me a long break. But I just ran across news of the new lawsuit, so i had to check in here. Purely from a fan viewpoint, its a morale blow to know that my dream scenario came so close to happening - but won't now. ...

Thats what I get out of it too. We are just about to hit the 1 year anniversary of their official establishment of their site. The timeline just may seem distorted a bit because we are in a news lull right now. I also did a look back through Dino's posts, and these stand out: Sat Aug 02, 2008 3:48 p...

To be fair, now that I have my previous posts out of my system - perhaps others will help me build a timeline of VEI events to help put things in perspective: 2007, May 28 - Valiant Entertainment announces first hardcover edition, Harbinger: The Beginning to be released on July 5 http://valiantfans....

I fully understand and support the legal and business end of saying nothing if there is nothing. All I am saying is there are things that can be done to keep "the faith". Seeing a post once in a while saying "still kicking"-especially if it's on the VEI site-would do wonders. An...

A few years back there was some noise about a VALIANT revival. Then came the agonizing silence caused by the legal fight over trademarks, etc. The problem was solved and there was a surge of enthusiasm. Now another agonizing period of silence has set in. Patience is a virtue - but that doesn't mean ...

Hi guys, We're still here, and there's some really exciting news that we'll be announcing. The only reason I have refrained from posting anything is that it can often cause more harm than good. But everyone seemed especially restless today, so I thought I may as well jump in this time. I will conti...

I'm wondering the same thing.

I check in from time to time, but haven't seen anything to get excited about from VEI for some time now.

But when some news hits I will be back to celebrate.

Not that it necessarily adds much to the original theme of this thread, but Jim Shhoter revealed more details from his sp-lit with DC. Once again, he mentions having offers from companies other than DC. No more details than that. But he does sound like a guy who isn't planning on spending any idle t...

About Bloodshot, I should clarify. I always liked his series, its just that Rampage is where I went from reading it because it was a good VALIANT series - to really being excited about it. Probably a combination of really liking the art, and seeing him interact with the rest of the growing superhuma...

I don't know enough about Miracleman to voice any kind of opinion on that. But Marvel's New Universe was most definitely Shooter's dry run for VALIANT. I think Shooter has proven to be at his best when he is putting together a fresh universe - which is why either Dark Horse or VEI or both would bene...

I'd be inclined to hope for something with VEI too - if it weren't for the folowing comment about watching the skies. I read "watch the skies" as a clue - but one that doesn't seem to fit VEI. But I'd be glad to be wrong. It's the closing line form the original version of The Thing From A...
