It was great to meet Igg today.
Also great to see Aram, Sanders and BTE today.
And if you have never spent time with Andy from Valiant then you are really missing something.
Andy is one cool dude.

It was a great day at Stockton Con. I am still amazed at all the boxes Elveen was able to pack in his long drive. That's some amazing packing and logistics skills. It was nice to see and chat with BTE again. I spent some time at the Valiant booth - Andy has lots of energy in promoting Valiant. I also got a chance to meet Sir Sandrick and Jay Fabares and got a very cool Bloodshot sketch from Jay.

Glad to hear it was a good time. Hope to sync with you all at some point.

I'd like to heard more about the con. Who from Valiant showed up? Any artists or writers? Any cool convention swag or special deals? I'm thinking of going to San Antonio to see them next month. Would like to know what to expect. And whether I need to bring extra cash for some cool stuff.

Spooooon!!!!

Andy and another Valiant staff member (sorry, I forgot her name) were there. They helped answer questions and promoted Valiant. They had all the TPBs and HCs laid out to the table and were offering specials (like $50 for 6 or 7 TPBs). They were giving free 1st issues and other short previews (like the ones you get from your LCS) to new readers or to those who purchased TPBs. As for creators, only Jay Fabares was there. She was very nice and had some blank covers and you can buy a blank cover and get a sketch (for a fee). She spent a lot of time on the sketch, about 20-30 minutes.tchalla8 wrote:I'd like to heard more about the con. Who from Valiant showed up? Any artists or writers? I believe that was Andy's new fiancé.
