Ebay flooded with Shadowman 8 CGC

I'm counting at least 15 CGC graded copies of this book on ebay right now, 6 of which are 9.8s. Now might be the time to pick one up if you're in the market.

The after-movie-news grading flood has definitely arrived! I think this is now the time to buy all of those key books because the initial buying spree is over and there are more books on the market. Perhaps it will dip in the future, but my guess is that it will be relatively slight, and temporary. When the Bloodshot trailer hits, the books will spike again.

FWIW, this is a really hard book to grade with the black cover.

Do you really think this book will jump in price when a Bloodshot movie comes out? Shadowman and Darque have nothing to do with Bloodshot. Isn't that like saying, 'buy this Thor comic now before the Spiderman movie comes out?' Seriously, I'm not being sarcastic, but I just don't get it.

Last year Shadowman 1 9.8 could be had for $50 or so. Right now, it's $175-180, and the character has no connection to any movie plans. He doesn't even have his own title. Yet, the price is 3.5x higher because of the movies.

Key Marvel jumps with movies, even for unrelated characters. I don't have stats, but there are jumps.

I was looking because I was considering selling my copy to help fund a trip to Rose City Comic Con. Doesn't look like the time is right.
