At the NYCC panel today, I asked Dino if Imperium was wrapping at 12 issues and he said no, there are additional arcs already in the works beyond #12.

This is great news! Imperium is such a quality read each month.

Wonder when we'll see Harbinger: Renegades? Think both Imperium and a Harbinger title could work at the same time? We'll kinda sorta see that happen in Jan with Faith #1 and Imperium #12 both coming out the same month.

With someone else writing A&A, I wonder what will be FVL next book, maybe he's going to dip his hands in 4001.

I spoke to him and he said he's working on something. He's turned in scripts but there's no art yet. I'm hoping for an Anon Lurker series

Hmmm...I'd think some one shots maybe in store for Jan and Feb to get us back up to 8 or 9 titles, unless another series is announced. By next May we should have the next event book, plus Rai should be back from its regular hiatus before then.

Also, I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned before, but there are scripts for Bloodshot Reborn out to about issue 25 or so, so that's not disappearing anytime soon. I imagine really poor sales could change that, but everyone at VEI seems to really be behind what Lemire is doing with it.

I'm hoping for a Shadowman series after Ninjak's Operation Deadside arc ends.
Rai to morph into a Rai and the Future Force type change with issue 13.
Renegades coming back, especially if Imperium ends.
Also, curious what "The Savage" is?
and I want something by FVL

Fred Van Lente just confirmed (again) over the Van Lente Day chat that he has a new project in the works for Valiant. In fact, he just had a meeting with Valiant yesterday (12/2). He said it has nothing to do with Ivar (in fact, he indicated he wanted to get away from the Anni-Padda side of things) but that it does involve pre-existing Valiant characters. And that he will be working with an artist he loves to work with. And it will be awesome.

There's a lot of galactic space opera fodder in the VEI universe now. When I think of previously existing Valiant titles that VEI might relaunch, that one seems most likely to me. And Fred, being a science-y kinda guy, would be a good fit.

As much as I like the PSI-Lords and VEI did promise an expansion of 4001 next year. But XO has introduced so much cosmic stuff that need further exploring, so I wanna see an Armorines series that specializes in doing missions in space.

Quite honestly I would go for anything FLV touches. I have enjoyed everything he has put out for valiant so far and I don't expect that to change.

Having said that I am really hoping we get the next Q&W arc soon.

It has not, and I think it may be a way off. FVL made it sound a couple of weeks ago like things were just getting kicked off. He also said that it would be a returning character(s), so that may exclude Britannia.
