Love this from Dinesh, when asked to project 3 1/2 years from now:
Dinesh wrote: I am really looking forward to in three and a half years, “Britannia” is a massive book for us. “The Savage” book doing really well. “The Outcast,” “The Visitor.” X-O, I think what we’re going to do with X-O and the war thing with X-O. “The Three Brothers,” “World War Ginger,” it’s going to be fun stuff.

Do we think that was a typo and should be Sandria. I may be spelling it wrong as well.

Re: The State of Valiant in 2016 - Interview
The thing I'm taking away is that it sounds like they're expanding their talent roster. It sounds like it's actually pretty deep.

I don't think it's a typo for Sandria. My first thought would be that it's the female cosmonaut from Divinity, but her name is Miska (even though Miska is a male name). http://valiantentertainment.com/comics/ ... nity-ii-1/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;FormerReader wrote:greg wrote:Yep, great interview.

Re: The State of Valiant in 2016 - Interview
Love the teases of new titles but was hoping we'd hear more of the Harbinger return and a Shadowman title as some of the books potentially on the way prior to The Savage, The Outcast etc.
Would also be cool to see some Bloodshot prequel comics too from his days as a Harbinger Hunter in the lead-up to the movie that would tie into the cinematic and comics universe, err, universally...

I wonder what it would be like to be a lonely, muck-encrusted monster? Probably be an improvement.

That's NOT what it said earlier. It has been edited. If it was a transcript, perhaps he relistened after our confusion and made the edit.

I don’t think it’ll change it. If it does change it, we’re dead. We’ve taken a lot of time and we’re very well financed and we’re not afraid of not doing a film if it’s not going to be done the right way.

Hell yeah

Hoping we get ten regular books this year and that Britannia and Savage is really good and unique, so excited to be a Valiant fan right now.Keith wrote:Love this from Dinesh, when asked to project 3 1/2 years from now:

Re: The State of Valiant in 2016 - Interview
Not worth starting a new post as there is not much to see, but we have some mystery teasers to look forward too at Free Comic Book Day. Dinesh posted glimpses on Twitter last night:
1) Black background, and you make out the bottom of words or a symbol in white, 4 kind of curving edges ending in points, the two on the left are mirrored by the two on the right. One of them has a drop of blood on it. Caption at the bottom says "Returning Soon". Dinesh hashtagged it #WhatCouldItBe
2) All white background, nothing else but the caption: "2017" Dinesh referred to it as the super-secret end teaser.

There is a light shadow from words at the top of the white image.

SI-LORD looks like it would fit on the white one. (The P and final S being cropped)

That image on the black teaser could be the bottom of the presumed Shadowman luchador mask.

I think this one looks like it could be shoulders, long white hair, and a white collar with blood on one side... possibly Ivar in a negative image.
Like a straight-on view of Ivar #12.
