Ebay VEI CGC Market Report

Hey guys, wanted to start a thread for members to report Ebay sales of VEI CGC books. I thought it would be interesting to have the sales recorded over time in one thread.

My sales from a 5 day non-reserve auction on 2/25/16:

1. Shadowman Gold #1 CGC 9.8 sold for $405
2. Imperium Gold #1 CGC 9.8 sold for $209.50
3. Bloodshot Gold #1 CGC 9.6 sold for $76
4. Harbinger Gold #1 CGC 9.6 sold for $69

Big number on the shadowman gold.
We have heard nothing about the movie in a long time, do you think its just hard to get in that grade? or movie heat?

There are only 9 CGC Shadowman Gold #1 on the census, and only 7 CGC Imperium Gold #1, as of last week.

So if you want one, you have to pay. Just such a limited supply of both. Shadow man is perceived as the more desirable book,

so it brought in double what the rarer Imperium did. The market sets the price, and perception is reality. One day, Imperium Gold #1 might be the

more valuable book if the series keeps going with the same high quality.

Congrats on the sales, Ed. I was watching #1 on your list because I am one of the lucky ones to have a copy in 9.8. Good to see it is holding it's value.
