Just got 2 e-mails saying that each had been added to my registry.greg wrote:I think the "trouble" books go into a log file
and someone will add them manually at a later date.
I received a note that my Solar 3 had been added about
a week later... but I think they were also doing server
changes at that time, too.
Talk about quick turnaround

Finally got my books back today. Mostly happy, some I thought were better didn't grade as well and I got a couple surprises.

- Magnus #9 - Looked sharp 9.8 Got a 9.6, close to what I expected.
- Harbinger #7 - 9.6-9.8 Got a 9.8, very happy.
- Harbinger #5 - 9.6-9.8 Only a 9.4, kinda bummed, thought it looked better.
- X-O Manowar #5 - 9.8 Right on. 9.8
- Harbinger #1 - 9.6 Wasn't too confident in getting a 9.8 on this one. Came back at 9.4, wasn't too surprised.
- Magnus #7 - 9.6-9.8 A 9.4, thought it was definitely better.
- Magnus #1 - 9.6 Right on, 9.6
- Harbinger #0 Pink - Solid 9.8. Hopefully 9.9? It just looked so nice.Came back as a 9.6, hard to beleive because it looks perfect.
- X-O #4 - 9.6 A 9.8, pleasant surprise.
- Rai #4 - My best looking Rai book I had. 9.6-9.8 And the final book came back at a 9.8! This made my day. It is a really nice looking copy too.
Time to get the next batch ready. This certainly was fun.
Again, I'm no expert but from what 9.8's I already have, I'd say every book I sent in could be in the same class and most of them looked better. So I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Its the greatest thing finally recieving the package and getting to see your slabs. Those who haven't are REALLY missing out.
Congrats Dr. Phil...
especially on the X-O 5 and Harbinger 7 9.8's, those are pretty tough to get.

Overall a great run... so is your next batch as sweet as this one or did you pick the cream of the crop first? Inquiring minds want to know. lol
...and don't forget to add them to your registry.

The first thing I did was add them to me registry so I wasn't in last place anymore. :littlesmile:Ricomortis wrote:Its Christmas in JulyDr. Phil Seleski wrote:Finally got my books back today. Mostly happy, some I thought were better didn't grade as well and I got a couple surprises.

This was my first time sending in my own books so I think I have a better handle on what to look for.
I do have some equally great looking books for the next batch. I took a chance on a couple flyers like the Harbinger 1 and a couple of the Magnus books just in hopes of the high grades.
Total turn around time was under 2 months so it wasn't as horrible.
