Great stuff.

It's a damn shame this isn't beating out the likes of Batman and Spiderman every month.

A truly Bold title and so well written. Please end this story, Mr Dysart. Do we have a group name for Harada's crew? Can we have an Eggbreakers (Stronghold, Ion et alia remaining Harbinger/Foundation/Zone psiots) mini?

That's a pretty tough challenge though innit? Batman and Spiderman are true legacy titles. Ninjak's still pretty new in comparison. I know what you're saying though. But winning over and converting those readerships isn't going to be easy!QUARTZ wrote:It's a damn shame this isn't beating out the likes of Batman and Spiderman every month.

Re: Is "Imperium" Ending?
No! No, no, no! This is my favorite series at Valiant! This is such a damn shame. I really hope the ending doesn't feel rushed. Damn, this is a bummer. I'm enjoying all the Valiant books, but with Ivar and Imperium both gone, I've lost my favorite books. A&A will probably be my new favorite, but I think Ivar and Imperium have been my favorite books in the entire Valiant relaunch. I'll still be reading every book, but there won't really be a GREAT book from Valiant right now with Imperium gone. I have high hopes for the Faith ongoing at least.

I'm interested to see if Harada is going to be included in the Divinity II storyline, since it's exactly the kind of event we'd expect him to investigate.

Re: Is "Imperium" Ending?
Well, it hurts to see it end as so many trashy titles are still making it to market from the big two and this was an excellent series. It is hard to beat Valiant for a good comic book anymore. I just learned it was ending and will wait for the final collected issue to see how it concludes. Either way, I hope we see more of Harada and his evil heroics soon.

Re: Is "Imperium" Ending?
Definitely. It's a bit of a kick in the balls seeing some of the crap the big two can continue to shift when Valiant fans are sitting around moping after hearing the 'end of Imperium' announcement. Who're the people buying that stuff, and why don't they have the sense to branch out and read something that's actually quality?Psiot X wrote:Well, it hurts to see it end as so many trashy titles are still making it to market from the big two and this was an excellent series. As for Harada and his evil heroics... Are they evil?

Re: Is "Imperium" Ending?
I think it is sometime during the first Divinity run where there is a crossover issue in Imperium that Harada proclaims that he will be selflessly villainous for the greater good while the other fellow can be selfishly heroic to soothe their conscience.Shadowman99 wrote:Definitely. So Harada's being 'evil' for the greater good... So, is that evil?

Re: Is "Imperium" Ending?
Is that evil? I would compare Harada to a Muslim Jihadist looking to force his vision of paradise upon you by cutting people's throats on camera. To people of his shared belief, Harada is obviously a hero and they are all standing behind him. To everyone else, he is a villain with a knife cutting some one's throat in front of them. So, in order to answer your question, tell me are you in front of the knife watching what happens or behind it waiting for what will happen?Shadowman99 wrote:Haha, yeah, I remember that! That aside, I've always enjoyed watching Harada's exploits unfold throughout Harbinger and Imperium. I think that his 'grey area' in which he perpetually operates has been fascinating to read
