5 Talents you want to see work on Valiant Projects
What it says in the title. Exclusive contracts be damned:
Artists
1) Sean Chen. Great signature Valiant artist...whose Valiant work I will admit to never have seen. I fell in love with his gritty art style in Marvel's Nova ongoing some years back. With his history with the company, I think a comeback is long overdue.
2) Nicola Scott. Met the lady in person and she is as talented with her artwork as she is lovely with that husky Aussie accent of hers. I think her work is comparable to early George Perez which is pretty damn good. Her art on Earth-2 was what sold the book on me.
3) Paul Pelletier. Another artist I fell in love with in Marvel's Nova ongoing. His heroic proportions and energy in his work would really look good in a title like X-O Manowar.
4) Ardian Syaf. As quiet a man as you'll ever meet but a very talented Indonesian artist whose work on Batgirl and Batman/Superman left quite an impression on me.
5) J.H. Williams III. His work on Batman was so well done (in part thanks heavily to the inks and the colors) you can almost feel the volume and leather of Batman's cape. His work would look great on a noir/supernatural title like Dr.Mirage or Shadowman.
As for writers...I think VEI has such a solid stable of writers, I can't really ask for more

That would require a seminal title like Kingdom Come, Justice or Marvels which isn't in continuity. So unfortunately VEI might not have much for him unless its just cover art. I'd love to be wrong though.

Neil Gaiman would be fun, perhaps on Shadowman or another Dr. Mirage title?

Re: 5 Talents you want to see work on Valiant Projects
I already got one of mine with Darick Robertson on Harbinger: Renegades! To me that is one phenomenal pickup! Love his art! So excited for it because of his art!
But, aside from him, I'd love to see Mark Bagley do anything with Valiant! Two of my all-time favorite artists, from my all time favorite book, The New Warriors!

Bring back Patrick Zircher (although he's probably not gonna leave DC anytime soon now that he's drawing Action Comics!)
...
And make sure Joshua Dysart comes back!!!

Greg Capullo on Shadowman. Don't care for the writer, almost.
Greg Rucka (count me in for the petition
) on Eternal Warrior. Throw a Nick Dragotta on visuals. Damn, this would be perfect. I don't know why.
Rick Remender's take on the Renegades/Generation 0.
Grant Morrison on a X-O mini series.
Ed Brubaker on Bloodshot.
Extra: Mark Millar writing Quantum and Woody could bring these characters back to my side of the woods. Like. That.
I'm not sayin' JD, because I think he's still with VEI.
