This ranks right up there with the 50 copies of Secret Weapons 2.

I really wish I could find 92 copies of Rai 9.

They should have held out for 7 more copies to make it 99 copies just for effect

Thats actually a great price if you use it for toilet paper...to bad someone printed *SQUEE* all over it already.

Okay that was bad but I couldn't resist. The book wasn't THAT bad...at least the art was really good.

I'll be really surprised if this sells. The books aren't even mint! They've got price stickers on them!

Still, maybe somebody needs some firewood...

Why do people do that to comics and still expect someone to buy them?

I was simultaneously thinking two thoughts from this thread while looking at this - "This would make a good VcVSS, waitaminnit...." and "why would anyone price-sticker ANY comic?" I wouldn't even do that to any of the early Image crap..... I have my honor, man!!!

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

The overstock/odd lot/crap stores do that. When I was buying VIABs, I would get them with stickers from "Odd Lot" or "Spags" or even "Kmart" sometimes.

A board memeber just just told me he got some of the Acclaim CIs with stickers on them from a 'crap' seller.

I don't know. There's just something pointlessly cool about owning 90+ copies of any comic book. If I had the space and they weren't stickered, I'd consider it.

When I found an auction on Ebay a few years ago for 200 copies of the Maxx #1, I just couldn't pass it up for $22 shipped. :D

That's funny, I made a similiar purchase like that years ago. I bought 100 copies each of Darker Image #1 (sealed) and Maxx#1 and #2. After shipping, I think I ended up paying 10 cents a book. This was before I had access to the 'net, so I actually found this offer in the Comics' Buyers Guide. I thought at some point, I'd be able to flip these for a profit, but the print run was just too huge, I guess. I think I ended up donating them or selling them to Half Price Books or something.

Wish I had 100 copies of Maxx #30-35....
