I have taken quite a few pre-order and deposits. The $499 package is not going to sell 30 or 40 copies. It is more likely to sell 10-15 and that metal print will be rare as hell. (That's the point btw

hey everyone,

if you are planning to do the #1-3 set and are just waiting for the right time to do a deposit, please let me know by pm. i am trying to get ideas how many sets will be pre-sold, because I have to do a certain minimum (not there yet) to even break even on this deal (prints are not cheap, and i committed to a lot of copies of my variant). I think the metal print item will be even more rare than i thought, definitely in the Savage #1 1:50 or less.

Dumb question - which may have been answered and I missed it - you'll ship the entire 1-3 package in one shipment, yeah? (As opposed to one each month). I'm easy either way - just curious.

Yes, it will all ship when 3 comes out. That's why i only ask for a deposit, and you have 2-3 months to pay the balance, or do payments.

to those who are doubting the value of this set:

- it's 3 sets in one, if you think that way it's not that much, plus all the extras, the signed #1 by all, the business cards set, the regular print, and the metal print, plus whatever else we end up with.
- the metal print, you will not be able to get any other way. there will be 10-15 copies total made and they will be impossible to find later, could end up being worth more than the set.
- you have 3 months to pay for it, until issue #3 comes out. i only need deposit by the 25th.

i think it's by a huge mile the best we have ever done, that's the only reason I am trying to explain it

UPDATE: We have only 3 days till the orders are due for the X-O #1 PRE ORDER EDITION, which means that will kind of lock the orders for our $499 #1-3 sets. I will order 5-10 extra sets of the Pre-Order edition just in case, so that gives people who change their mind a little room to still place their deposits.

At this time, we have 15 people signed up for the sets. That means that, if nothing changes, there will be only 15 (FIFTEEN) copies made of that print (plus one for my wall, of course to go with my original art of the cover). Compared to my estimates for the 1:500 Metal cover, which should be around 200 copies, this is going to be 10 times more rare. The set orders should theoretically be a lot harder, specially considering how many people have sets of our prints and this one will be a LOT tougher to get. Our regular print will be of the Cover A, not our exclusive, so this will be the only way to have that piece of art in print OR in metal form. Just food for thought.

DEADLINE is today (with a couple of days of wiggle room, maybe) for signing up for this set. The PRE ORDER EDITIONS for issues 1-3 are due TOMORROW morning and I won't be able to adjust that order.

Remember, it's just deposit time, if you need to make payments you have until third week of March. We just need $150 deposit minimum (NON-REFUNDABLE)

So the official deadline for the sets has ended, because of the strict deadline for the PRE-ORDER edition of #1-3 being this past Thursday.

BUT... I ordered a few more sets of the PRE-ORDER EDITIONS (5) so I am letting all who are considering it know that after that, it's done, unless you tell me you are ok with getting it w/out those 3 books.

If you are planning to do it, do it now to make sure I have a set available.
