Another Deluxe edition delayed

Post by tchalla8 »

Ok this is kinda starting to irritate me. The 4001 A.D. Deluxe edition was due to ship in the next few weeks, and now it has also been moved back to the mysterious "July" ship date. Which pretty much means the next 4 Deluxe editions in the pipeline have no guaranteed ship date. For a company that prides itself on never missing a deadline this is sort of unacceptable. Now I have to wonder if any of them are ever going to show up.

I happens. At least it isn't new books getting delayed. I remember trying to collect Image books when they first came out, now that was irritating (See Wetworks as an example)
I hoard Newsstand Editions facepalm

And was one of the big contributing causes of the comics crash, as retailers tied up capital into books that never shipped for them to sell.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

Ya me too. Rai has been my favorite Valiant book and this was a big release too considering there is no Rai Deluxe v2....

*SQUEE* happens, yes, but this *SQUEE* keeps happening way too often now!

Valiant needs to find a much better solution for their hardcovers.

Sadly, VEI has always struggled with their Deluxe shipping schedules. Although a few of their volumes have made out on time, that's been far more the exception than the rule.

That said, the books are awesome and worth the wait.
I wonder what it would be like to be a lonely, muck-encrusted monster? Probably be an improvement.
