I had the 1,000,000th post on this board and all I got was this lousy custom ranking.

[CLOSED - FINALLY COMPLETED RUN] WTB (hear me out) Cerebus 1 and 4

Post by possumgrease »

I'm looking for a copy of Cerebus 1 and 4 to complete my run. I am interested in the counterfeit 1 as well, but it's really secondary.

I don't know if I'm mentally ready to pay the money for the #1 just yet, but we'll see.

This may be the only "WTB Cerebus" post on the internet in the last 10 years, so enjoy being a part of history.

I was looking for a high grade copy of Cerebus 1 for years. They are very hard to find and they have become quite expensive so I finally gave up on my quest. Good luck on yours quest.

There is a nice CGC 9.4 copy of #4 on eBay with a 25% off sale right now

Thanks for pointing out that book, and I learned something that I'll share with the group. MyComicShop had that same book on their website for $60 less than the discounted ebay price and there was no sales tax collected for my state. I had assumed the price would be cheaper buying direct instead of through eBay, but that was a bigger difference than I'd anticipated.

It was still a little more than I wanted to pay (would have been happy with a raw copy), but now I'm down to only needing issue one. Thanks again.

Here’s another update. Covrprice now reflects the price that I paid when I bought directly from mycomicshop, so I guess they share data. Interesting, right?

Glad you got that copy. Always nice to knock a decent book off the wantlist.
