I hate that under DMG Bloodshot is just violence and gore. I long for the days of the sci-fi Bloodshot in Harbinger Wars or the emotional character Bloodshot in The Valiant or the Bloodshot that had something to say in Bloodshot Reborn...

It's not really possible to judge based on the first issue, though. The second may slow things down, particularly given the mention of the first one ending with a new revelation about Bloodshot.
