Whenever I see that name I am reminded of when he helmed Werewolf By Night. It was promoted with the phrase, "Finally, a werewolf comic written by a wolfman!"

My LCS has that Teen Titans #18 priced at almost $20 - is anyone else seeing this, or has my comic shop guy lost his marbles?

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
They have sold consistently for $20 on Ebay. I still don't equate LCS pricing and Ebay pricing. If it sells for $20 on Ebay put it on Ebay!
It's a similar situation with Wolverine vol.1 #146. That comic has been a great ebay commodity. It was an underordered issue that was part of an exciting storyline- Apocalypse: The Twelve. They sold consistently for $20-$30 on ebay for a while. Now all my local shops have them on display for $30 or $40.Too long after the boom and excitement. The won't move unless somebody trades for them.
A lot of LCS owners don't know their market. They think they can command ebay and wizard guide prices when they don't have the buyers who are willing to pay the premium prices for trendy comics.
