Greg's Updated the Price Guide
Thanks Greg!
Almost two months between updates, you busy man!
Interesting to see some green (gains) in the most fallow auction period of the year (July-August on ebay has stunk for sales, for me at least, for the past 3 years running).
I can't believe the quantity of sales of the XO 1/2 gold and yet it's not dropping that quick in price. I wonder why?
Also, the VVSS line (save for Rai 9, Turok 1 and Magnus 25) has clearly separated itself in the price guide as some of the most sought after Valiants in the market today. I remember when these books were afterthoughts.

Me too, I put them last on my priority list because they didn't seem to be worth a very much. I very much regret that decision now.mrwoogieman wrote:Also, the VVSS line (save for Rai 9, Turok 1 and Magnus 25) has clearly separated itself in the price guide as some of the most sought after Valiants in the market today. It's funny now to remember that for awhile those VVSS were selling at ridiculously low prices because no one really wanted them. The VcVSS fad hit and then "BOOM", VVSS books are hot again. I personally think they deserve the recognition.
The XO 0 golds use to be $60-80 books this time last year and theyv'e come down in price. I have a hunch that this and a couple of other very special gold books are starting to get undervalued but I don't want to tip my hand yet.

I don't really understand the Destroyer 0 $2.50 edition. It has the average sale over 6 months (and beyond) of selling for around $50 but the guide lists it at around $20. Is this because of the limited number of sales of this book? I would love to buy this book for $20 but it never sells that I see below $45-$50 or more.

I do chicken right!

(I thought about bidding... but Canada is a strange foreign land without delivery confirmation.)

I thought about it too, but I saw that you were bidding on it and stayed away.GGSAE wrote:No kidding, i thought for sure someone would pull the feet out from under me on this gem.whetteon wrote:It's funny now to remember that for awhile those VVSS were selling at ridiculously low prices because no one really wanted them.
