Magnus and Harbinger Coupon artwork
I know that the coupons for each of the zero issues told a reeeeally small story or were trading cards.
Anyone have scans of the artwork on each of the coupons?

H0 pink did not have a coupon. The collected Harada story the coupons in 1-6 told are reprinted in H0 pink and blue.Sean_Jackson wrote:I know that the coupons for each of the zero issues told a reeeeally small story or were trading cards.

M1-8 had 3 trading cards and 1 coupon each. The coupons were actually like frames in an action sequence. Someone on the boards put them together into an animated GIF. The best place ot get a look at all the cards is with the uncut sheet. There's a picture of one on the site in the "misc" section.
Magnus 0 (mail-away) did have a harbinger-like coupon/card in it. I've seen a scan posted on the boards before.
Re: Magnus and Harbinger Coupon artwork
As Chris said, the cards do a good job of showing the art. I do own one pair of art for Magnus cards (two images on one art board). I also own card number 8, but was stupid enough to mail it away for a signature. If it ever shows up for sale or otherwise, please report that to me immediately. A few other cards are with an Italian collector.Sean_Jackson wrote:I know that the coupons for each of the zero issues told a reeeeally small story or were trading cards.

I've got a couple. I quit collecting insurgents after they kept blowing up my kitchen.X-O HoboJoe wrote:People collect Italians?
Exactly. Good to see that people remember. I hope one day Art Nichols will understand he needs to do good. Money-wise others lost more than me, but together with the money order for a commission I also sent things to sign, and this art is what I really regret letting out of my hands.jcdenton wrote:"I also own card number 8, but was stupid enough to mail it away for a signature."
Did you send it to Art Nichols by any chance?

Whoah, I had heard about Art Nichols doing nasty things keeping money from undone commissions. It was a real thing, then. Shame on him

Why doesn't someone just sue the *SQUEE* for theift and mail fraud? I'm sure he still has 'evidence' with him and many people will testify. Loosing that card art would really bring me down even 7 years later.

I don't think he currently lives in the US. He took me for over $150 :x
The only time I ever really got ripped off in an art deal.
Too add insult to injury, evertime I re-read the early Magnus books
(which I absolutely love) I think about how Nichols still owes a lot of people.

Re: Magnus and Harbinger Coupon artwork
Does anyone have any they could post to help him out? Someone was kind enough to post the Harbinger cards for me when I asked this question a while ago. I didn't keep the computer files for some *SQUEE* reason but did print them out. If you wanted I could scan what I printed but I think their should be some people on here with pics that would be better than that.Sean_Jackson wrote:I know that the coupons for each of the zero issues told a reeeeally small story or were trading cards.

I feel really bad for Magnus who didn't get his art back.
For what it's worth, Nichols' rep is tarnished forever. Money can be replaced.

BTW, when are you and I going to get together for a drink? I am going to meet Baron maybe Sunday for a beer, I will PM you my number again if your interested.Shakespeare wrote:Hey, architect, he told me that too. Have you seen it?
