I went Saturday in Orlando ... place was packed as usual. Here are some pics from John Taddeo's booth. He's the dude in the hockey jersey. Very friendly guy.

Geez, finally figured out how keep Photobucket from mangling my new camera's pics.

Overall deals at the show were pretty good if you weren't looking for Valiant. I got about 40 vf/nm Spideys between 140 and 190 for a buck each, along with about 100 other Marvel books. Only Valiant find was a CEOG for 50 cents (for some reason I'm always finding that damn book but never the CEAR).

Cool stuff Depluto, thanks for sharing. Did you talk to John or Bob for any length of time?

I chatted up John for a little while; I tried to stay out of Bob's way while he worked on some sketches. He was pretty animated and fun to listen to while he worked, though.

You should have said something like how much you admire Jim Shooter and sure wished he were here so you could get an autograph, in ear shot of Bob.....I'll be that would have gotten his attention.

Bob's a pretty big dude. I'm pretty sure he could have reached across the table and poked me in the eye.

All of a sudden I have this image of Bob giving Depluto his best haymaker and laying him out cold all over the VF editions of Zoom suit while John Taddeo looks on in horror.

Don't get me wrong ... I still think I could take him, but I'm sure Taddeo would have jumped over the table to help out Bob.

I'm just kidding of course, they are both very nice guys.

Well, at least depluto would have his own versions of this book - remarked, in his blood!

Sounds valuable! I'll buy it if he throws in some of those nifty Jim Shooter remarked packing peanuts! :P

Shooter may be difficult, but I bet JT could be talked into it...
