Help: Seller Not Returning PM & Hasn't sent item in 5 mo

Are any of the members that are still waiting for refunds/comics/cash from Justin any of the members that told you to "get over it"?

Unfortunately, I think everyone will end up accepting their losses and chalking it up as a lesson learned. Keep trying to get things resolved, but obviously don't expect anything. This is nothing y'all don't already know though, it just reminds me of a similar situation I had with a close friend and money lending. I'm sure we all have many of these lessons learned.

Unfortunately, you're right.

Now, he's going to be at the SD con in July (so am I)..What kind of reception is he going to get from the other members that are going to be there?

THAT I don't remember. Probably not. At least not you, or Myron, or Whet....but I'm lazy.

But they don't need to be for the point to be valid. No one has told anyone involved in THIS situation to "let it go."

errr well, I know it is going on a year now... but when in SDCC last year, both Justin and Greg were supposed to go in on the rental car that I got (yes, the infamous trip to Mexico rental car) and to date I have not gotten their portions that they were supposed to pay ($225 split three ways).

I hate to even mention it but it was a gentlemans agreement. They did fill it up with gas though.

So...

I CAN understand how people can be forgetful, heck there are a few outstanding items on MY backburner that I need to take care of as well.

I had no idea this wasn't settled.

I remember giving you $80 cash that first night in the hotel, when I thought the rental car would be about $240. Did that get used on the hotel bill instead? If so, that's fine... just let me know what I owe you. (Another $75?)

Was the "Cheeta Club" in TJ a place where some of this $$$$ went...? If so, CUDOS! What happens in Mexico stays in Mexico... not counting the rash that flares up every 3-4 months.

I have been trying to call him, with no response, no voicemail, nada. Has Zach been able to contact him? He seems to live the closest to Justin, (and even he has been posting on the boards for awhile now). I sure hope the Justin hasn't got himself so depressed that he has done anything to hurt himself. That would be very sad. Maybe we should just let this thread float in limbo until we hear something from Zach. I hope Justin can find his way out of his depression and misery, with his mental health intact.---Steve
