If someone is dumb enough to pay that price, they deserve to be ripped off.Rubiks-Q-Bert wrote:This is the guy in england that bought it for like 70 cents. From a guy who did not know what he had he sure is tryin to rip someone off.

The guy has 3 posts. The first 2 he was trying to figure out what he had and what it was worth. The guy did not even know what CEAR meant until he asked. I mean if I bought a CEAR for 70 cents id sell it too. I wouldnt start it at 185 dollars though. Id start it at the lowest possible price knowing that it would be bought i would be all profit anyways.

OH what have I done!
I promise the next time you see this book up for auction I will not start at 100 sodding pounds sterling! it was a complete accident honest.
I thought ten pound would cover ebay fees if thats all it went for looks like an extra zero just slipped itself in there.
Glad I could entertain you.
For the record, I am sufficiently embarrassed, i hang my head in shame.

not true...at least not all the time and we are VERY tame compared to many other boards.Rubiks-Q-Bert wrote:Why? As a group we do tend to get on certain things, but we are also very willing to forgive accidents...look at Jedimarley...his first 20 posts or so were in defense of an ebay listing....now he is a mainstay of the community.
Why waste time learning, when ignorance is instantaneous?

The crap posts so he figures that is all anyone does...myron wrote:not true...at least not all the time and we are VERY tame compared to many other boards.Rubiks-Q-Bert wrote:Why? Re: OH what have I done!
To be precise, he had no reason to defend the listing, only thing that was wrong was the automatic postage calculator, which is not his to defend. He simply confirmed that he used fair shipping prices. I can personally add that his shipping is fast and secure btw.myron wrote:look at Jedimarley...his first 20 posts or so were in defense of an ebay listing....
Absolutely! If I don't see his late-night round of posts around lunch-time here I feel lost.now he is a mainstay of the community.
