THE ORIGINAL VALIANT FAN CLUB PROJECT - Bloodshot Print

Post by hillmanthe2nd »

Put up my Bloodshot Meets Bloodshot autographed (Don Perlin, Dick Giordano, & Sal Velluto) print on ebay. Print was created by Acclaim Ink (Joe Petrilak) for the orginal Valiant Fan Club site - VALIANT ERA ONLINE, which is archived by Greg on this site. The print was limited/numbered to 50 copies.

Check it out...

oh man, I would love to be in the running for this but I see svair has already put down a bid. No big deal you say ? Well #1 I really really try not to bid against board members if I can #2 I am sure John has more cash to spend on this thing than I do

I picked up one of those for $3 at a con in Orlando a couple of years ago. Pretty cool mix of my favorite VH1 and VH2 character.

That was a great deal. Ron's should go much higher.

I can't remember for sure. It was at the same table where Perlin and Giordano were sitting but I don't recall buying it from either of them ... maybe one of their assistants?

I just took a look at it. Mine does not have one of the Acclaim Ink COA, but it is a nice-looking, thick print ... not just your average photocopy. And it has Perlin and Giordano's signatures on it, not Velluto's.

Interesting... sounds like they were using it as a nice souvenir for conventions.

I wish those guys would have come to Arkansas... but then again, why would they want to? :P

Sure sounds like an alternative edition. If you ever consider selling I will at least double your money.

Damn it's #18 and that's my number for Valiant fan projects. Sorry John but I'm gonna go a sniping on this sucker.

Just curious does anyone remember what these went for originally?

That seller actually has quite a few nice VALIANT items, including some tough Valiant Voice issues. Only drawback is that he's in Australia.

Don't let the Australia thing hold you back too much. I was only charged $5 and change for shipping. Very reasonable.

Good luck with the quest, Pete. I hope you find it soon -- a completist such as yourself should have one. :thumb:
