I'm not a legal wiz, but even if someone breaks into your home you can still be charged with homocide if kill the person. I think you have to prove it was self defense and the person had the intent to kill or do you bodily harm first.

Pretty sure you can shoot to kill if they break into your home...

Here in Fla. you can shoot someone if you feel threatened. New law from last year.

I NEVER said I'd kill anyone. A nice shot to the kneecap is enough for me...

If you're gonna shoot then shoot to kill. No sense leaving behind a potential witness. It's hard to dispute self defense when there's no witness to testify against it...

my grandfather always told me to never pull a gun on a man unless i intended to use it...and to never shoot a man unless i meant to kill him.

Self defense laws also vary by state. The was a recent change to the one in AZ.
