Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I heard a few people joke about her being Brian's girlfriend in NY.

When I joined to boards I authored a post in Gen. dis. and listed what books I had and asked "the boards" what they thought I should try and get next.
Very soon after that Dac55 Pm'ed me to see if I still needed the books, which of course I did.
So Dac55 sent me about 150 VALIANTS for the low low price of...
FREE
All he wanted was shipping, he stated that he just wanted to help me out. (actually he asked for, I think, about $16, the shipping was $22.20!) In return he sent me his list of "wants" and asked if I would keep an eye out for him. I told him that I had not even heard of any of the books let alone had any of them.
He sent me the books, and I have been reading them since. So today I went to my local comic shop (my first time in a comic shop in about 12 years) took in his list and picked up some books for him.
So I would consider this an EPIC deal for me, why:
#1 I got 150 VALILANTS that I have never read
#2 I went into a comic shop for the 1st time in years, that is a story in it self
#3 I was reminded that people can be, and often are, nice for no reason.
I believe that this qualifies for my "best deal of late", but I do not want to brag, just give my man DAC props.
Thanks D,
Chrisitan

Congrats to Magnusr for adding a nice pre-Unity cover to his fantastic art collection!
It's always great when an important piece stays in "the family".
