Truly great storage for your Golds...
I've been meaning to check these out for some time, and I finally got the chance at the Chicago Con. Wizard has a new storage medium they call "The Mill Case". I'm not usually partial to the Ultra-Pro and Wizard brand stuff, but honestly these are fantastic, I highly, highly recommend them.
Don't expect your early Silver Age stuff to fit in these, but mid silver stuff goes in PERFECTLY. Here are some images of these great cases, which IMO are the best thing on the market now (CGC cases aside). They are pretty pricey though... a package of 5 Mill Cases for $20 bucks. But they are well worth it for your better books. These combined with some microchamber paper and the books are completely archived.

Yeah, and the cool thing is that apparently with the receipt I got from Wizard world I got a code for 10% off of my next order of these things from the online retailer...

Well they have a flip lid design (like a cdrom case) and it closes relatively tightly.
I'd hazard a guess and say that they are probably just a little less airtight than a CGC case (if you have any CGC's, you'll notice that you can run you finger down the side spine of the case and split it a little bit...).
These are like that but "split" a little bit more on the unarticulated side of the case by virtue of how they close. That's really the best description I can give you...
I suppose if you wanted to get nuts you could seal them with heat shrink after the book is inside (hmmmmm....)

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I'm buying them only for my keys and silver age stuff.
Modern stuff more or less still go in mylars or bags.
But the nice thing with these, is that more or less once I've got my books in them... DONE. No need to upgrade with whatever the next medium that comes along is... I'm pretty content with these things (now off to Graham Crackers for some chamber paper). Eventually I'll label the tops of the cases and -wala- nearly homemade CGC.
AWESOME!

I'm surprised you haven't heard of them, actually. Jamie Graham has built a chain and name reminiscent of Mile High. I'd call the chain analogous to MH, but in Chicago.
I've got stories both good and bad about them, but for the most part, more good than bad. I think I recommended these guys to a board member here who recently bought a Giant Size X-Men #1 from them online and was really happy (although I can't remember whom).
